Short Biography
Prof. Dr. Ir. Bagus Budiwantoro is a professor in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from ITB in 1980 and received his master’s degree in 1987 and doctoral degree in 1991 both from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, Lyon, France. Bagus handles the courses in Basic Design of Machine Elements, Mechanical Engineering Design, Engineering Product Design, and Engineering Product Prototyping V. His current research interest is on Designing and Prototyping, Production oil & gas, Mining, Metro Capsule Equipment, Crashworthiness, Sports Goods, and Water Treatment Plant.
