Short Biography
M. Agus Kariem, S.T., M.T., Ph.D. is an assistant professor in Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (FTMD), Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB). He obtained his bachelor’s degree in 2003 and his master’s degree in 2005 both in Mechanical Engineering from ITB and received his doctoral degree in 2012 from Swinburne University of Technology, Australia. Agus handles the courses in Engineering Product Prototyping, Mechanical Engineering Design, Piping System Design and Construction, Finite Element Method for Design, Basic Design of Machine Elements, Engineering Product Design, Special Topics in Mechanical Engineering, and Finite Element Analysis. His current research interest is on Finite Element Analysis, Impact Testing, and Fitness for Service.
